What you can expect

Roll up your sleeves for an introduction to the magic of sculpture and bring a fantastical character to life. Be guided through sculpting basics by the Wētā Workshop crew. Learn how to craft a sculpture using household materials and modelling clay. Take your sculpture home to finish and display. Work in small groups, allowing for one-on-one time with our crew. No creative experience is necessary—just bring yourself and your enthusiasm

  • Creative workshops are available for those aged 12 and over
  • Photography is strictly prohibited whilst in the tour spaces
  • Please notify the provider if you have sensitive skin or known allergies
  • There is a 550m walk between the tour space and hands-on workshop space. Please allow enough time to find a carpark, as spaces are limited
Cancellation Policy
  • Please allow up to 48 hours for a response. If cancellation is made within 24 hours of arrival, there is no refund available.
  • If cancellation is made within 48 hours of arrival, we will refund 50% of the total booking price.
  • If a tour is cancelled by Weta Workshop, we can reschedule your tour to another day that suits you or offer a full refund.

  • Confirmation in the form of a tour voucher will be received at time of booking
  • Upon completion of purchase, please print the voucher and present on day of the experience
  • Mobile Vouchers are accepted! - Vouchers can also be presented on your mobile device for this attraction
